To commemorate Mike Alstott and Doug Williams, who were announced on Wednesday as the franchise’s two newest Ring of Honor inductees, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are introducing a pair of five-game ticket plans bearing their names.  (more)

BUCCANEERS TO CELEBRATE 40 SEASONS WITH COMMEMORATIVE JERSEY PATCH

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled today a commemorative patch that the team will wear on its jerseys during the 2015 campaign in recognition of the organization’s 40th season celebration. The hexagonal patch features a “40 Seasons” banner, along with the current Buccaneers logo flanked by the years of the franchise’s inaugural and current seasons on a pewter backdrop with red outlines. The design also incorporates “Bay Orange” and white, as a tribute to the team’s original color scheme and uniforms that were worn from 1976-1996.  (more)

MEDIA ALERT: TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS ROOKIE CLUB TO VISIT JAMES A. HALEY VETERANS’ HOSPITAL FRIDAY

On Friday, May 15, 2015 NFL Draft No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston, second round draft picks Donovan Smith and Ali Marpet, and more than 20 members of the Buccaneers Rookie Club will visit James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa to spend time with service members recovering from injury and illness. The group will take pictures, sign autographs, and visit with the wounded warriors from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. in the hospital's new USO Day Room, a recreation lounge for families and military personnel recovering at the hospital’s Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury Center. BUCCANEERS TO INDUCT WILLIAMS, ALSTOTT INTO RING OF HONOR

For the first time in the seven-year history of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ring of Honor, the club will induct two of its legends in the same season. Former fullback Mike Alstott will be honored during the Buccaneers’ Oct. 4 home game against the Carolina Panthers, while former quarterback Doug Williams will be inducted on Dec. 6 when the Buccaneers battle the Atlanta Falcons. (more)

BUCCANEERS SIGN THREE DRAFT PICKS; CLAIM SAFETY D.J. SWEARINGER AND LB KHASEEM GREENE

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have signed three of their 2015 NFL Draft picks: fourth-round selection, linebacker Kwon Alexander, fifth-round choice, wide receiver Kenny Bell, and seventh-round pick, running back/fullback Joey Iosefa. The team also claimed safety D.J. Swearinger from the Houston Texans and linebacker Khaseem Greene from the Chicago Bears off of waivers. (more)
