BUCCANEERS CONTINUE HOLIDAY TRADITION WITH 8TH ANNUAL “TURKEY TIME WITH THE O-LINE”

On Monday, November 24 at 5:30 p.m., the Buccaneers’ offensive line and UnitedHealthcare will team up with Publix Super Markets, Coca-Cola, Pepperidge Farm, and United Way Suncoast to provide Thanksgiving meals for those less fortunate at the eighth annual “TURKEY TIME WITH THE O-LINE.” Along with Buccaneers Cheerleaders, Captain Fear, and more than three-dozen Buccaneers staff members, Buccaneers O-linemen JOSH ALLEN, ANTHONY COLLINS, ONIEL COUSINS, EVAN DIETRICH-SMITH, DEMAR DOTSON, KADEEM EDWARDS, GARRETT GILKEY, LOGAN MANKINS, PATRICK OMAMEH, KEVIN PAMPHILE, MATT PATCHAN, and JEREMIAH WARREN will distribute full Thanksgiving meals to 750 families in need from the Tampa Bay area during the event at One Buccaneer Place. The families, who have been pre-selected by Buccaneers Academies staff and local nonprofit organizations identified by United Way Suncoast, will receive a full meal purchased by the Buccaneers’ offensive line. These hearty meals include one 10-12 pound turkey, cranberry sauce, gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables and pie. With support from UnitedHealthcare, the families will also receive Thanksgiving kits in reusable shopping bags, including an aluminum pan, storage container, turkey baster, turkey thermometer, and recipe card. (more)

BUCCANEERS RE-SIGN DE UKO TO PRACTICE SQUAD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that they have re-signed defensive end George Uko to the practice squad and released punter Jacob Schum from the practice squad. (more)

BUCCANEERS WR EVANS NAMED NFC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

The National Football League today announced that Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 11. He is the first wide receiver to win the award in franchise history. (more)

BUCCANEERS AND DAIRY COUNCIL OF FLORIDA TO PRESENT $5,000 HEALTH AND WELLNESS GRANT TO PINELLAS PARK MIDDLE SCHOOL

On Tuesday, November 18 at 11:00 a.m., the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dairy Council of Florida will make a special visit to Pinellas Park Middle School for winning the 2014 Fuel Up to PLAY 60 “Defend Your Turf Challenge.” During the visit, wide receiver Mike Evans, tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, and the Buccaneers Rookie Club, along with Buccaneers Cheerleaders and mascot Captain Fear, will congratulate the students for their efforts to promote physical activity and nutrition, and, along with representatives from the Dairy Council of Florida, present the school with a $5,000 Health and Wellness Grant(more)

BUCCANEERS SIGN PUNTER SCHUM TO PRACTICE SQUAD

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that they have signed punter Jacob Schum to their practice squad and placed linebacker Jeremy Grable on the Practice Squad Injured Reserve. (more)
