- On the opening drive of the second half, S Chris Conte recorded his first interception of the season, picking off Carolina QB Cam Newton at the Tampa Bay 36-yard line. It was the first interception of the season for Conte and the 14th of his career (five with Tampa Bay).
 
- Tampa Bay’s first points of the game came in the third quarter, when K Patrick Murray connected on a 41-yard field goal, capping an eight-play, 31-yard drive lasting 3:27.
 
- With today’s totals, Tampa Bay now has 2,636 yards of offense this season, the most through seven games in franchise history.
 
- With today’s totals, QB Jameis Winston now has 1,853 passing yards this season, the most through seven games in franchise history.
