Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kicker Roberto Aguayo and Raymond James Financial to Present More Than $20,000 to Local Children’s Hospitals
On Monday, January 23, at 3:15 p.m. at One Buccaneer Place, Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Roberto Aguayo and Raymond James Financial representatives will present a total of more than $20,000 to three children's hospitals through the "Kicking for Kids" program. Benefiting hospitals include John Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, and St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa. Local patients and their families, as well as hospital administrators and Child Life Specialists, will be on hand for the presentation and tour of the team’s practice facility led by Aguayo.
As part of the “Kicking for Kids” program, Raymond James Financial agreed to donate $1,000 toward the designated children’s hospitals for each field goal made by the Buccaneers during the 2016 season. Aguayo, in his rookie season with Tampa Bay, converted 22 field goals. For Aguayo’s 22 field goals, Raymond James Financial is donating a full $7,500 to each hospital through the program.
Since its inception in 2000, the Raymond James “Kicking for Kids” initiative has donated more than $300,000 to children’s hospitals across the country. To learn more, visit
