Limited Number of Five-Game Plans Still Available
Coinciding with the opening of training camp for the highly anticipated 2016 season, individual game tickets for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ entire 2016 home slate will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, July 28, at 10 a.m. ET.
Fans can access these seats on the team’s official website, or by calling 866-582-BUCS (2827). In addition to the availability of single-game tickets, fans still have time to take advantage of the club’s five-game Red or Pewter ticket plans as a limited number of these packages remain available.
Highlights of this season’s schedule include visits from the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks and defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos, as well as annual matchups with the NFC South-rival Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons. Additionally, the Buccaneers will not play their first 1:00 p.m. home game until October 30, allowing Tampa Bay fans to enjoy cooler temperatures throughout the first seven weeks of the NFL season.
In the preseason home opener on August 26 against the Cleveland Browns, fans will have their first opportunity to see the freshly renovated Raymond James Stadium. The most recent stage of enhancements features brand-new, state-of-the-art, high definition video boards in each end zone, four HD tower video displays in each corner of the lower bowl and HD ribbon boards in the center ring of the suite level. The new end zone boards will measure 9,600 square feet each, while each tower display will measure 2,304 square feet for a total video display area of 28,416 square feet – the third-largest in the NFL. The enhancements also include a state-of-the-art sound system in addition to the renovation of all luxury suites and the opening of the new, all-inclusive Hall of Fame Club.
The Buccaneers will start on the road for the first two weeks of the regular season before playing their home opener on September 25 at 4:05 p.m. ET against the Los Angeles Rams. The following week, on October 2, Tampa Bay will host the Denver Broncos in another 4:05 p.m. start.
After road contests on both sides of their bye week, the Buccaneers return to Raymond James Stadium for three consecutive home games. First, the team welcomes the Oakland Raiders on October 30 during a weekend celebrating the league’s “A Crucial Catch” campaign. The day before the game, October 29, the Buccaneers will hold their annual Treasure Chests 5K and Corporate Run/Walk Challenge to raise funds for breast cancer research and patient services.
On November 3, Tampa Bay plays on a primetime stage, hosting the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football as the Buccaneers celebrate the extraordinary career of legendary safety John Lynch. During a halftime induction ceremony, Lynch will become the ninth member of the franchise’s Ring of Honor, joining Buccaneers legends John McKay, Lee Roy Selmon, Jimmie Giles, Paul Gruber, Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks, Doug Williams and Mike Alstott. In addition, both the Buccaneers and Falcons will wear their Color Rush uniforms.
Tampa Bay returns to Sunday action the following week with a visit from the Chicago Bears on November 13 at 1 p.m. for their annual Salute to Service game. Two weeks later, on November 27 at 4:05 p.m., the Seattle Seahawks will visit Tampa for the first time since 2010.
The Buccaneers’ final quarter of the season features three divisional games in four weeks, including home contests against the New Orleans Saints on December 11 and closing out the regular season against the Carolina Panthers on New Year’s Day.
In addition to the individual game tickets, the team continues to offer a limited number of five-game ticket plans. The Red Plan includes games against Cleveland, Denver, Oakland, New Orleans and Carolina, and the Pewter Plan includes games against Washington, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago and Seattle.
Full-Season Pass Memberships are also still available at a variety of price points. Memberships start at just $40 per game for adults and $20 per game for youth and discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
