The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that cornerback Jude Adjei-Barimah, tight end Cameron Brate, linebacker Adarius Glanton, wide receiver Adam Humphries and wide receiver Freddie Martino have signed their exclusive rights contracts. The team also announced that quarterback Ryan Griffin has signed his restricted free agent contract.
Adjei-Barimah (5-11, 200) joined the Buccaneers as a college free agent out of Bowling Green in 2015 and has played in 23 games for the team, making eight starts, over the past two seasons, totaling 62 tackles (three for loss), three passes defensed, 2.0 sacks and one forced fumble.
Brate (6-5, 235) originally came to Tampa Bay as a college free agent out of Harvard in 2014. Over the past three seasons (2014-16), Brate has played in 34 games with 15 starts, catching 81 passes for 965 yards and 11 touchdowns. In 2016, Brate caught 57 passes for 660 yards and eight touchdowns, all of which ranked second on the team. His eight touchdown receptions tied for the NFL lead among tight ends and tied a franchise record for touchdown catches by a tight end (Jimmie Giles, 1985).
Glanton (6-1, 230) was signed to Tampa Bay’s active roster from the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad in 2015. He has played in 21 games for the Buccaneers since joining the team, recording nine tackles on defense and five on special teams.
Humphries (5-11, 195) originally came to Tampa Bay as a college free agent out of Clemson in 2015. Over the past two seasons, he has played in 28 games with four starts, catching 82 passes for 882 yards and three touchdowns, while returning 24 punts for 237 yards. Last season, Humphries caught 55 passes for 622 yards, both ranking third on the team.
Martino (6-0, 195) joined the Buccaneers in 2016 as a free agent, playing in 13 games on the year, catching eight passes for 142 yards and one touchdown.
Griffin (6-5, 210) spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons on the team’s active roster, but did not appear in any games.
