Team Also Signs Two to Practice Squad
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have promoted tackle Reid Fragel from the practice squad to the active roster.
Fragel (6-8, 308) has spent the first three weeks of the season on Tampa Bay’s practice squad, after spending the offseason and preseason with the Buccaneers.
The team also announced that they have signed offensive lineman Antoine Everett and tight end Tevin Westbrook to the practice squad. There was a spot available due to defensive end Kourtnei Brown signing on another team’s active roster.
Everett (6-3, 325) spent this offseason and preseason with Tampa Bay. He will wear No. 67.
Westbrook (6-5, 257) is a rookie out of the University of Florida, who entered the league as a college free agent with the Tennessee Titans this past offseason. The Coconut Creek, Florida, native spent the offseason and preseason with Tennessee, before being signed to the team’s practice squad for the first two weeks of the season.
