BUCCANEERS PROMOTE WR JOSH HUFF FROM PRACTICE SQUAD; PLACE WR CECIL SHORTS III ON INJURED RESERVE

Team Signs WR Bernard Reedy to Practice Squad
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has promoted wide receiver Josh Huff from the practice squad to the active roster and placed wide receiver Cecil Shorts III on Injured Reserve.
 
Huff (5-11, 206) was signed to Tampa Bay’s practice squad on November 7. The Houston native originally entered the league as a third-round pick (86th overall) of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2014 NFL Draft. Huff, who played collegiately at Oregon, has played in 34 games, with six starts, catching 48 passes for 482 yards and four touchdowns, while returning 42 kickoffs for 1,165 yards and two touchdowns. He wears No. 15 for Tampa Bay.
 
Shorts played in nine games, with five starts, for Tampa Bay this season, catching 11 passes for 152 yards.
 
The team also announced that wide receiver Bernard Reedy has been signed to the practice squad. Reedy spent this past offseason and preseason with Tampa Bay. The St. Petersburg, Florida native originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2014. Reedy, who played collegiately at Toledo, will wear No. 18
