Frey (6-0, 190) originally entered the league as a sixth-round draft pick (184th overall) of the Chicago Bears in the 2012 NFL Draft. After spending the 2012 season on the Bears’ practice squad, Frey played all 16 games for Chicago in 2013, making six starts at nickelback. This season, he has played in three games with one start. For his career, Frey has played in 19 games with seven starts, totaling 58 tackles, one pass defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Frey (pronounced fry) played collegiately at Nevada. He will wear No. 32 for the Buccaneers.
