Team Waives DE Deondre Barnett & LB Paul Magloire
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed defensive end Sterling Bailey and defensive end Tavaris Barnes.
Bailey (6-3, 296) originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the Indianapolis Colts in 2016. The University of Georgia product spent time on the practice squads of the Colts, Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings during the 2016 season and was with the Vikings this offseason, before being waived earlier this month. A native of Gainesville, Georgia, Bailey will wear No. 70 for Tampa Bay.
Barnes (6-4, 284) has played in 12 career games, all with the New Orleans Saints in 2015, when he recorded five tackles and two quarterback hits. Barnes spent the 2016 season on Injured Reserve with the Seahawks. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, he played collegiately at Clemson and will wear No. 79 for the Buccaneers.
The team also announced that defensive end Deondre Barnett and linebacker Paul Magloire have been waived. Barnett and Magloire were signed as college free agents following the 2017 NFL Draft.
