BUCCANEERS SIGN DT ISHMAA’ILY KITCHEN; WAIVE (INJURED) S ELIJAH SHUMATE

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed defensive tackle Ishmaa’ily Kitchen (ish-MAY-lee) and waived (injured) safety Elijah Shumate.
 
Kitchen (6-1, 330) originally entered the league with the Cleveland Browns in 2012, as a college free agent out of Kent State. Kitchen spent three seasons with the Browns (2012-14), appearing in 40 games, with three starts, totaling 78 tackles, two quarterback hits and two tackles for loss. Last season he played in one game with the Detroit Lions and one game with the New England Patriots. He will wear No. 66 for the Buccaneers
