Team Waives S Alex Gray & WR Thomas SperbeckThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed safety Marqueston Huff and wide receiver Jhajuan (pronounced “juh-WAHN”) Seales.
Huff (5-11, 196) originally entered the league as a fourth-round pick (122nd overall) of the Tennessee Titans in the 2014 NFL Draft. After spending his first two seasons with Tennessee (2014-15), he spent time on Jacksonville’s practice squad in 2016, before being signed to the Ravens’ active roster. This offseason, he was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs, but was released earlier this month. In three seasons, Huff has played in 41 games, with one start, recording 17 tackles, four passes defensed, one sack and one interception, returned 23 yards for a touchdown. He also has 19 special teams tackles. A native of Texarkana, Texas, Huff played collegiately at Wyoming. He will wear No. 34 for Tampa Bay
Seales (6-1, 205) played collegiately at Oklahoma State and entered the league as a free agent with the Chicago Bears this offseason. He was waived on May 30. The Port Arthur, Texas native will wear No. 83 for Tampa Bay.
The team also announced that safety Alex Gray and wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck have been waived.
