Team Waives TE Williams, Signs CB Wilson to Practice Squad
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today announced that they have signed wide receiver Solomon Patton from the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad and waived tight end D.J. Williams.

Patton (5-9, 177), originally entered the NFL with Tampa Bay this past offseason, and played in six games with the Buccaneers earlier this season, recording 10 punt returns for 112 yards and 17 kick returns for 393 yards, with one rush for 19 yards on offense. After being waived by Tampa Bay on October 21, he has spent the past six weeks on the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.

The team also announced that they have re-signed CB C.J. Wilson to their practice squad. Wilson was on the Buccaneers’ active roster for two games this season, but was inactive for both. He has also spent nine weeks on Tampa Bay’s practice squad this year.
