Player and cheerleader to host interactive Q&A with middle-school students focused on character development and life beyond footballOn Tuesday, October 10 at 10:30 a.m., Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Robert McClain and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleader Julia will host a new virtual classroom experience called Character Playbook LIVE™, a digital character education program presented by the NFL and the United Way.
At One Buccaneer Place, the player and cheerleader will answer character-based questions received remotely from six middle school classrooms across the Tampa Bay area: Booker Middle School, Giunta Middle School, McLane Middle School, Memorial Middle School, Sligh Middle School and Sulpher Springs K-8.
Character Playbook LIVE is part of a league-wide initiative to engage more students in the important conversation of character. NFL players will virtually join local schools in their classrooms and connect lessons taught in Character Playbook modules to life inside and outside of football. Students will have the chance to engage with players in a personal manner through an interactive activity and Q&A session.
