As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offseason program comes to a close and players and coaches begin their summer break, two of the team’s leaders on the field and in the community will kick off the summer by giving back to local youths.
 
FRIDAY, JUNE 17: VINCENT JACKSON YOUTH IN ACTION CAMP
Fourth Annual Camp Will Host Children of Military Families
 
On Friday, June 17, Vincent Jackson and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the fourth annual Youth in Action Camp for more than 150 children ages six to 12 who are members of military families. Hosted at One Buccaneer Place, the free one-day camp will include games and activities on the practice fields and encouraging words from the three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver and 2015 NFL Salute to Service Award winner about the challenges of growing up in a military household.
 
A four-time team captain, Jackson is committed to making a difference in the lives of military service members and their families, through which the receiver’s personal initiatives, team charitable efforts, and Jackson In Action 83 Foundation are dedicated. SATURDAY, JUNE 18: GERALD McCOY YOUTH FOOTBALL CLINIC

Inaugural Tampa Clinic to Provide Special Day for Children of Single-Parent Households
 
On Saturday, June 18, four-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and the Buccaneers will welcome 350 children – a portion of whom come from single-parent households through United Way Suncoast and are being hosted free of charge by McCoy – to One Buccaneer Place for the Gerald McCoy Youth Football Clinic. The one-day football camp will feature McCoy and his teammates offering football instruction to local children ages seven to 14, with an emphasis on fundamentals, teamwork, and discipline.
 
McCoy, who is committed to supporting single-parent families, is bringing the camp to Tampa for the first time after previously hosting the event in his hometown of Oklahoma City. Media availability for b-roll and interviews will take place between 9:00 – 11:00 am at One Buccaneer Place.
