Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Houston Texans Postgame Notes (9/27/15)

- In the second quarter, LB Danny Lansanah tipped a pass that was intercepted by LB Kwon Alexander. It was Alexander’s first career interception.
 
- On the ensuing possession, QB Jameis Winston connected with RB Charles Sims for a 32-yard touchdown pass. It was Sims’ first career touchdown reception. Winston now has four touchdown passes on the year.
 
- Winston finished the game with career highs in attempts (36), completions (17) and passing yards (261).
 
- DT Henry Melton recorded his first sack of the season in the first quarter, bringing down Texans QB Ryan Mallett for a one-yard loss. Melton now has 21.5 for his career.
 
- WR Mike Evans finished today’s game with seven receptions, tying a career high, for 101 yards. It is Evans’ first 100-yard receiving game of the season and the fourth of his career.
 
- WR Vincent Jackson caught his 500th career regular season pass in the first quarter of today’s game. He is one of only 14 active players to catch 500 passes.
 
- LB Lavonte David recorded 14 tackles, the most by a Buccaneers player this season.
 
- In the second quarter, K Kyle Brindza connected on a 58-yard field goal, the second-longest field goal in team history. Brindza is the first kicker in team history to connect on two field goals of 55 yards or longer in the same season.
