Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Cleveland Browns Postgame Notes (8/26/17)

- In the second quarter, LB Lavonte David tipped a pass from Browns QB DeShone Kizer, which was intercepted by CB Vernon Hargreaves III at the Cleveland 37-yard line. Hargreaves now has four career preseason interceptions (two this preseason, two in 2016).
- The Buccaneers recorded their second takeaway on the Browns’ next drive, with S Chris Conte forcing a fumble from Cleveland RB Duke Johnson Jr., which was recovered by LB Adarius Glanton at the Tampa Bay five-yard line. It is Glanton’s first career preseason fumble recovery.
- Tampa Bay scored its first points of the game on the final play of the first half, with K Nick Folk connecting on a 31-yard field goal to cap off a nine-play, 53-yard drive that took up the final 1:17 of the first half.
- DE Noah Spence recorded his first sack of the preseason in the third quarter of tonight’s game, dropping Browns QB Cody Kessler for an 11-yard loss. Spence’s sack helped force a a 55-yard field goal attempt from Cleveland, which was missed. Spence now has two career preseason sacks (also one in 2016).
- Nick Folk added his second field goal of the night in the third quarter, finishing off a 31-yard, seven-play, 3:18 drive with a 42-yard field goal.
- DE George Johnson registered a sack in the fourth quarter, bringing down Browns QB Cody Kessler for a seven-yard loss for his first sack of this preseason. Johnson now has 9.0 career preseason sacks (1.5 in 2015, 2.5 in 2014, 3.0 in 2011, 1.0 in 2010).
- Nick Folk connected on his third field goal of the night in the fourth quarter, finishing a 17-yard, five-play drive lasting 2:19 with a 43-yard field goal.
