Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Tennessee Titans Postgame Notes (9/13/15)

- On the first play of the second quarter, QB Jameis Winston connected with TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins for a 5-yard touchdown pass, the first of Winston’s career.
- Winston and Seferian-Jenkins connected for a second touchdown in the fourth quarter, on fourth-and-one from the Tennessee 41-yard line. It is Seferian-Jenkins’ first career game with multiple receiving touchdowns. He now has four career touchdown receptions (two in 2014).
- Seferian-Jenkins is the first Buccaneers tight end with multiple receiving touchdowns in a game since 2010 (Kellen Winslow, vs. Seattle, 12/26/10). The 41-yard score is the longest reception by a Buccaneers tight end since 2010 (Kellen Winslow, 41-yard touchdown reception at Washington, 12/12/10).
- Seferian-Jenkins finished the game with five catches for 110 yards, the most receiving yards by a Buccaneers tight end since 2011 (Kellen Winslow, 132 yards at Green Bay, 11/20/11).
- Following the Buccaneers’ first touchdown, the defense forced a Tennessee three-and-out, highlighted by DT Gerald McCoy recording his first sack of the season. McCoy now has 28.0 career sacks, tying DB Rondé Barber for the seventh-most in franchise history. Since 2012, McCoy has 24.0 sacks, the most by any defensive tackle in the NFL.

- DE Jacquies Smith notched his first sack of the season in the third quarter, dropping Titans QB Marcus Mariota for a 15-yard loss. Smith now has 7.5 career sacks (6.5 in 2014).
- In the fourth quarter, LB Lavonte David forced a fumble from Titans RB Terrence West, which was recovered by Tampa Bay DE George Johnson. It is David’s seventh career forced fumble and Johnson’s second career fumble recovery.
- David has five forced fumbles over the past two seasons, tied for the most in the NFL during that span (also Kansas City LB Justin Houston, Washington LB Ryan Kerrigan and St. Louis DE Robert Quinn).
- With his start in today’s game, WR Vincent Jackson extended his consecutive games started streak to 69 games, the longest active streak by any wide receiver.
- DE George Johnson made his first career start in today’s game.
