Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Washington Redskins Postgame Notes (8/31/16)

- In the first quarter, DE Jacquies Smith recorded his fourth sack of the preseason. That is the most recorded by a Buccaneers player dating back to at least 2000.
- On the first drive of the second half, Tampa Bay drove 43 yards in 12 plays, setting up a 50-yard field goal by K Roberto Aguayo, the longest for him this preseason. He later added a 23-yard field goal and an extra point.
- Aguayo finishes the preseason with 31 points and eight made field goals, both the most by a Buccaneers kicker dating back to at least 2000.
- LB Josh Keyes recorded his first career preseason sack in the third quarter, bringing down Washington QB Nate Sudfeld for a one-yard loss.
- S Kimario McFadden had his first career sack in tonight’s game, dropping Sudfeld for an eight-yard loss.
- Tampa Bay finishes the preseason with 16 sacks, tied for the most by the team in a preseason dating back to at least 2000 (16 in 2001).
- In the fourth quarter, QB Ryan Griffin connected with WR Bernard Reedy for a nine-yard touchdown. It was Griffin’s first passing touchdown this preseason and the fifth of his preseason career (3 in 2014, 1 in 2015 – all with New Orleans). The touchdown reception is the first of Reedy’s preseason career.
- WR Freddie Martino caught six passes for 65 yards – both game highs for either team.
